I always wondered about what happened to Colleen and Andrew after the last episode left me hanging, and now i do!! This movie was so good that i hope they make another to show more of the Dr Quinn show we like. maybe do a Dr Quinn family reunion type movie? Also for those that want me to reveal what Colleen and Andrew were up to heres the spoiler.... WATCH THE MOVIE! :D I wont tell what happens, but many will be shocked and amazed and be left wanting more of the story. As always they are spot on with the dress and decorum of this period and will have you wanting to watch both movies again and again!! Please bring back this series if only to expand on the lives of the children and legacy Dr Quinn paved the way for!!

In the last TV movie after the series had ended on CBS, Dr. Quinn and family travel by train to Boston to visit her mother. Surprises were in store for each of them, especially Michaela and Brian.Upon arriving, the family learns of Mrs. Quinn's illness, which she was trying to keep hidden from her doctor daughter. Sully meets with the President of the United States, U.S. Grant, and Brian is hired as a columnist for the Boston Globe. This feature length episode is a great way to end the series, with a good storyline that stays fresh like the series had for many seasons. If this film had been released theatrically, it could have been a hit, but then again, you never know.

I dare say that this film, based upon the television series, truly touched my life. As a woman, in the 1800s, Dr Quinn went to medical school, moved to the frontier, took in three children, started her own practice, and married one hot, hot man, SUlly. SHe is truly an inspiration to all women who want to enter the professional world, for she conquers all odds and stays true to herself. She doesn't let any men push her around, and she stands up for what she believes in. In this film, her true character comes through, and I am seriously glad I watched it. The plot, the casting, the cinematography, and the acting are off the hook! Michaela Quinn is my idol.

The show Dr. Quinn brought family entertainment back to television. How many crime/law/sit-com shows do we need? This was a show that was family entertainment at its most basic level. The entire family could sit down and watch it without having to shield the young ones eyes. It taught elementary lessons that we still face today, but made it just a little more interesting for us to watch. I am still bitter that CBS canceled the show. And so are lots of viewers. Why do you think they continued the story after cancellation with t.v. movies? We need shows like that for our families to watch and love. It had heart and was one of the best shows ever on television. I'm glad that they have had movies to follow up the story. Thank goodness for this family show and thank God for Dr. Quinn!
