Vivs This movie was very well written, and well acted by the leads. It suffered a bit from some amateur direction, and not the greatest of support casts. But I would definitely recommend it for those looking for a "will-and-graceish" light romantic comedy. It was nice to see Alexander Chapin in a slightly different sort of role, and as a romantic lead. He was way underutilized in Spin City, and hopefully this will be a good next step for him. This was definitely a lifetime (TV for gay men, and the occasional woman) film. Check it out! The canine costars often out acted the supporting cast, but they get better training and management than most
naspen This is a cute, little romantic comedy not solely restricted to either dog lovers, yuppie singles or gay men. It's a fun, urban bit of lighthearted fare with an especially strong and noteworthy supporting cast...specifically Alexandra Boyd, John Cantwell, Tom McGowan and the always wonderful Richard Kind. Good soundtrack, featuring Sophie Ellis Bextor (sp?)....
prohibited-name-1082 I saw this film at The Hollywood Film Festival and laughed out loud for one of the few times during the festival. This film is a lot of fun - a great popcorn movie to go to with a date. I hope that more folks have the opportunity to walk this dog.
DsMovieReviews I had the opportunity to catch this movie at the 6th annual Marco Island Film Festival. I must say I was greatly impressed. The story plays out like a 90 minute "Three's Company" episode with much hilarity resulting. Please do everything you can to try to see this film.
