TheLittleSongbird Disney was a big part of my childhood, and the Disney sing along series always did give me pleasure, not just for the characters, the animation and music but for their entertainment and educational values. Disneyland Fun is wonderful and really makes you yearn to be there. It also gets points for how entertaining it is, with the big array of Disney characters and the interplay between them. The whole video looks wonderful, the dancing is spirited and simple and fun to dance along with and the voice work is consistently great. What makes Disneyland Fun is the music, the melodies are classic Disney and the lyrics are funny and adventurous. Follow the Leader, Whistle While You Work and Zip a Dee Do Dah are delights in themselves, and the Character Parade made my eyes well up with nostalgia. My favourite was Grim Grinning Ghosts, one my brother, sisters and I found very scary as children, but one that now stands as entertaining and genuinely atmospheric. I love the Gothic setting, the costumes, the catchy melody and especially the spooky vocals. All in all, brilliant and one of the best of the series to me. 10/10 Bethany Cox
samcracc I have not been to Disneyland park but except Disney California Adventure. This show is almost just taking a ride in Disneyland park in California. The Haunted Mansion song was interesting. Micky Mouse, Minne Mouse, Goofy, Roger Rabbit, Winne the Pooh Donald Duck, and Pluto where cute. The songs where brilliant. This is about a lots of exciting music just like when you are in Disneyland Park. Those voices of the characters from Disneyland park where brilliant. Disney's Magic Kingdom Park looks a little like Disneyland park. It's a Small World was a cute song. This sing alone song is excellent the kids will like to sing this Disney land songs.
kawaiili90012 Being the Disney fan that I was and still am, my mom picked this up for me when I was a ripe age of 2 years old. I always wanted to visit Disneyland and with this tape, I was able to. Each song went along well the park's attractions that were featured. Each version of the song had its own little spin (Zip-Ah-Dee-Do-Dah had a little rap verse thrown in there). As a kid, I loved it. Now, I think it's pretty cute. Anyone who buys this tape (or still has it) can "spend time" with Disney characters that the parks retired almost 17 years ago. My favorite part is where at the end a fireworks show is put on to "When You WIsh Upon A Star". This takes me way back. This is an excellent video and I recommend it to any kid, teen, or adult who loves Disney/Disneyland or just likes to revisit their past.
SimpsonsRock11 I've never been to Disneyland, and when I was a little girl this video was a thrill for me. However, I think IMDB has the release date wrong, as I had this video circa 1991 and on a recent viewing of it, the copyright date is shown as 1990. Features my favorite Disney song ever, "When You Wish Upon A Star", (well, one of them anyway.) Also features "Grim Grinning Ghosts", which scared me as a child, but I think it's sort of brilliant now. This video was a nice change from the other sing-alongs, which all feature movie clips.
