I watched this because i am a fan of martial arts, films, and thus martial arts film choreography. The Good : martial scenes are energetic, fast, well executed, with an occasional variation of a move we have seen before. The Bad : The acting is really bad. At first i don't mind because i thought these were just ordinary stunt men and not actors, so it was interesting to see how they react if they get entangled in a situation like the one they are in. But then you can't bear with it for long. It is really bad acting. And afterwards i realized the film premise is that they ARE actors in the film. So it's even worse.Another bad thing is some dialogue which is super cliché.Also, the choreography is also copy-paste from other films and actors like Jackie Chan, Yuen Biao, Sammo Hung, etc, who did all this decades ago. No originality. Pity. You can fast forward to check the fight scenes, and even then you will not be impressed if you have watched good martial arts films in the past.

Alright, so I heard about this movie on Martialartsmoviejunkie, and being in a fighting-movie kind of mood, I checked it out.Lets get down to it. The fighting is pretty good. Good choreography, and pretty well shot. (no shaky cam thank god) The action is over all not bad. Although the shoot-out scene drags on and suffers from low budget. Bullet penetrate just one side of cardboard boxes? Really? Come on.What is not good though, is the acting. The drama. Oh god, the drama. First off, 3 of the 4 main actors are not really American, but speak English none the less. Broken English, that is. And they can't really act that good, it's not horrible, but it's in no way good enough. At least not good enough to have dramatic scenes with crying and stuff. The movie is just good enough for me to watch it to the end, and SPOILER the ending is kind of a not too bad twist that I didn't see coming. If you really love fighting movies, this is alright. But there are plenty others to see before this one.

This movie disappoints me.. 3 things if i may:First plot is weak.. and its not clear who is leading who.. please pronounce things right... its annoying to hear all those mistakes..2nd.. why bring in annoying characters.. they are all feeling like they are bad ass..3rd PLEASE stop.. i like local and low budget made movies.. but what you guys did is corny.. its scenes are really painful to watch, sorry about it..i like to mention more things that are bad but i cant.. i have so many.. characters, plot, camera angles but lets let it go..

The trailer looked promising and the movie definitely delivered. The plot is really good for a martial arms film. It was suspenseful and kept me guessing until the end. I became emotionally invested in what was going which is always a sign of good film making. Without spoiling anything, the ending wasn't what I wanted. Overall the movie is really well made. Occasionally near the beginning, a little of the dialogs is difficult to hear but this is a minor problem. The acting is decent. The lead actors are martial artists first and foremost so its unreasonable to expect A list actor quality performances. The actors conveyed the emotions needed without seeming cheesy, awkward or weird. For a martial arts film the acting was pretty good. The martial arts in the movie are very impressive. There are numerous fight scenes and they are all well choreographed and executed. Slow mo is sparsely used, there's no wires and no CGI to replace the genuine action. In summary, very good fight scenes and highly recommended for action fans. Definitely looking forward to what Z Team Films produces in the future.
