"Andi Ommsen ist der letzte Lude" is a German 85-minute film from over 10 years ago and it is another example of German comedians trying to be actors. Many have done it in the past, but almost none of them came up with a quality movie. This is also why I am particularly surprised that Lotto King Karl managed this difficult feat. Maybe the reason is that he did not try himself to be a writer or even director here and let these jobs do the professionals while all he had to focus on was the acting. I do not believe he is a trained actor, so this was certainly enough of a challenger. He succeeded and his character and performance were quite fun to watch from start to finish. Actually, he is a lot better than Tobias Schenke, who once again proves that he has basically no talent. At least he is not as bad in comedy as in drama. But there is something hilarious to the fact that he had a scene when he was instructed to play a bad actor and there is really some massive irony to that moment.I believe the main reason why I liked this film quite a bit is not only that it almost never took itself seriously, but because the writing was genuinely funny on many occasions. This comedy may have been scenes that were nothing new and that we have seen in similar manner in other films already, but that was not a problem as the writers surely had good taste in what scenes they decided to include here. I quite liked their approach and it managed to keep weak actors like Neldel or especially Schenke from ruining the movie. There is a lot of political incorrectness in the film. They are not afraid of swearing for example or being obscene. There was only one moment when it was disappointing and that was the farting humor scene. But at least this one somewhat made comedic sense with the tattoo reference that explains it all. As a whole, this was a good watch. Thumbs up to Lotto King Karl and the makers of this film here. Quite a positive surprise and I recommend checking it out. This film is evidence that German films can be funny. Go Stullen-Andy! I'd probably even have watched a sequel if there was one.

OK, I want to be honest. There is not a single character in the movie that would pass as a half-decent human being. But the way these guys, especially Lotto King Karl, act in the movie, is hilarious. I really hope they didn't translate this film into any other language, because the accents and the place, where this story takes place, can't be changed or separated. If you want to settle for some beers and and evening of rough humor, you'll find yourself laughing tears. But please, if you expect fine humor, slapstick, black humor, _don't_ watch this movie. You'll be disappointed. If you know and like the music of Lotto King Karl, then you're good to watch this movie.

Haha, i laughed my ass of when i saw this one in sneak preview month ago. "Gerrit Heesemann", also known as Lotto King Karl ( won much money in german lotto and made a song ) 'plays' a wanna-be pimp that in fact sells meat to the bitches. when he gets a special job by a high-level pimp ( care for his girl/bitch, whatever ), he hopes to get a real pimp. does not REALLY work out, but who cares, its damn funny. go watch it. worth the money for sure...

This really was the worst movie I´ve ever seen! It´s about an awful looking guy, pretending to be a pimp and getting into all kinds of trouble. I was ready to walk out the movie theater! The actors were awful, the story cheap and the jokes all below the belt and not even a BIT funny. I really wonder which production company has a budget for this kind of junk!
