"Demon Hunter" (aka "Obsidian Hearts") was bad, really, really bad. Initially, I hadn't really set up any particular expectations for this movie. But wow, I was sorely disappointed anyway. I barely made it like 20 minutes into the movie before I had to turn it off and give up on the movie out of sheer boredom and frustration. The story is about Cosette (played by Jenny Allford) who has a tendency to draw demons towards her, like moths to a flame. And Klaus played by Robert Amstler) is a demon-slayer who travels with Cosette, as her guardian. Together they travel around, never staying in one location long, killing any demons that cross their path.Right, the concept idea seemed good enough, like it had potential. But it was just slaughtered by some questionable direction and even worse creature make-up and CGI effects. After having see the first two demons in the movie, I packed it up and caved in, giving up entirely on this movie. It just didn't seem to have any entertainment value in any visible or hidden way. But what totally brought me over the brink and shut down was when I saw Cosette wearing a t-shirt that brandished the logo of the movie production company. That was just epically lame. Shameless self-promotion at its worst.I am sure that there is an audience out there somewhere for this particular movie. I just wasn't part of that particular audience. And I will say that it usually takes a lot before I get up and turn off a movie - I have sat through some really dubious and questionable movies - but "Demon Hunter" topped it and skyrocketed straight up to being in the top list of worst movies I have ever stumbled upon.

I made about 15 min in before I turned it off. Cast must being clicking the ratings, cant see how this could score higher then 1, more like minus 1. Who directed this? Horrible !! I 've seen better you tube movies then this. Remind me of cheap porno, The music did not fit the movie and to be honest the music was horrible. Who ever was singing, guy or girl cant sing. And the music kept going and only got worse, reminded me of music video more then movie. Could been better with different music. Bad music, bad acting, bad special effects, bad directing, just really bad. Probably worst movie I've ever seen a lot of movies.

Who ever wrote this movie should retire just to do the world a favor. Worst written and directed movie I have ever experienced. This guy must be like one the crazy people on American idol who think they can sing. Imagine what Simon from American idol would say to writer of this flick. Well buddy take this advice your not a writer! At least not a good one! Terrible special effects, horrible acting, just Horrible!! Save your money and hour of your life. I have seen better low budget porno films then this. I give the writer and director credit for having the courage for putting their names on this Garbage. I would be embarrassed to admit I wrote or directed this garbage, Demon hunter sounds cool, don't get tricked like I did, save your money and rent a real movie. It did my wife and I laugh, and we laughed hard. We only made 20 min into it before we shut it off. All I can say is Save your money.

Before watching this movie, I went to the IMDb page to get the link and look for a release date. As I scrolled down the page, I couldn't help but notice that the budget said $30,000. So, knowing that going into the movie, my expectations couldn't have been any lower. I made it to about 8 minutes before shutting it off. I couldn't do it! I've seen so many horror movies in my lifetime but I try my hardest never to get jaded. Paranormal Activity proved it could be done with no budget, so it is possible to make a great movie with virtually no budget. Demon Hunter is definitely not one of them. It is similar to those made for TV movies that the SciFi channel puts out but much worse. The acting, makeup, special effects were all so bad. But the worse part was the music and sound. I couldn't stay focused because my ears were bleeding. So this is a major pass unless you enjoy really, really enjoy bad movies. Please like me on Facebook!
