Lisbon is photographed in a strange moody way, as if its maze of streets and places reflected the inner conflicts of the characters. The editing is effective and builds up an aura of mystery and sexual tension. Ana Zanatti's portrait of "Ana Mónica" is still today the ultimate classy, elegant Portuguese femme fatale. Worth a look for so many reasons...
