Kevin SatanClaws Morgan I have now purchased this movie twice. There's a story behind that, but that's for another time. I have watched it many times and can honestly say it's the best movie about club life that I have ever watched. I hope that anyone who hasn't experienced this lifestyle or have only ever seen the hollyweird glam version of it watches this movie. It will open their eyes to a whole new world and hopefully change their perspectives. Support your local clubs. Support independent film makers. The acting on behalf of the club members who helped make this movie was impressive. The soundtrack is wicked too, so I'm also hoping that these bands get some more great exposure and receive a spike in their record sales. Very well done overall and I hope to see more from this production team in the future.
Cobrabat I've enjoyed reading a couple of books by Sonny Barger and whilst I haven't read "Dead in 5 Heartbeats", I thought the movie might be worth a viewing. I'll try to be honest by saying that a lot of this movie came across as unpolished, but that didn't bother me as much as some of the scenes that were a little confusing and appeared to be there for no specific reason. I enjoyed the portrayal of the Biker lifestyle and the Brotherhood that goes with it but the acting was a real mixed bag, some was good and some was fairly ordinary, but I guess that is to be expected when not all the cast are professional actors. I thought the story itself was good but again, could have been a little more refined. As far as Biker movies go, I gave it a 7 as I personally enjoy these types of movies. If you aren't really into Biker movies specifically, a 5 might be closer to the mark.
Spoon69 If you want to see an honest movie, not a cookie-cutter, Hollywood blockbuster made purely and simply to generate an income for the people involved, you need to see this movie. I freely admit that as soon as you start watching this movie, it is obvious that it isn't a big budget movie, but it is a fantastic movie none-the-less. This movie is art, pure and simple. If you were to think of a big budget Hollywood movie as a photo, this movie is an oil painting... sure, it is obvious it isn't as realistic as a photo, doesn't have as much detail as the photo does, but you can tell it was made with passion, by someone that enjoyed the effort of painting, worked for hours to make something that isn't as precise as something made in an instant with a machine. Hollywood has lost it's way, but with a little luck, movies like this will guide it back to the path of making art, not just money.
mi-orion Excellent movie!! Is very well done and produced, the acting is excellent, the presentation of the DVD's are awesome and very elegant, Reality and fiction played by real motorcycle members in real clubhouses. I highly recommend this movie. A great sample of love and respect, for those who doesn't know about life inside a motorcycle club brotherhood is a very enlightening sample of how members care about each others and how respect and love is always what matters. Very well done, Freedom, independence, support, honor, integrity, that's what is all about.I hope there's more movies like this one coming soon and I would like to congratulate the producers and directors of this great DVD. Thank you!
