Larry Silverstein
I located this DVD at my local library, and chose the uncensored version which runs just a little over 1 hour. It's a Stand-up Special that Tosh did for Comedy Central, which he performed in July 2015 at The Wilshire Ebell Theater, in Los Angeles.I guess I've been "living under a rock" because I had never heard of Tosh before, but I do like, as a rule, dark humor so I figured I would give it a try. I realize that regarding humor it's to each their own, so I'll just give my impressions. To me, Tosh's humor is certainly fearless and intentionally offensive, with very explicit language and numerous sexual references. His timing was excellent, but the bottom line for me is no matter how daring and non-P.C. it is, how funny is it? There were some laughs along the way, but much of the humor was more cringe worthy and mean-spirited than funny, in my opinion. So the end result, prepare to be shocked and offended, and you'll have to determine for yourself how funny it all is.
