I've only seen this film a couple of times, so I decided to write whatever I could remember about it.As well as the likes of 2003's 'The Cat in the Hat' and 1986's 'My Little Pony: The Movie,' this film is bright and colourful in its entirety and it has fluid, smooth and detailed animation with a rounded look. When I first saw Ted AKA the Man in the Yellow Hat, I mistakenly thought he was voiced by Adam Sandler because he looks a lot like him but Will Ferrell (a surprising choice) voices him very well nonetheless. Maggie looked a little like Drew Barrymore who wasn't given much to do but nevertheless seemed a gentle character. George is cute and his antics were delights to the eyes such as his interactions with his fellow jungle animals at the beginning and the overhead projector enlarging him as he stomps around the city. I like the soundtrack by Jack Johnson, especially 'Upside Down,' although the background music was rather forgettable. I was also impressed with the interactive exhibitions at the museum towards the end of the film, especially the one that allows children to paint like George. To sum up, this is a cute and colourful film where some of its scenes are more memorable than others. 8/10.

Inspiring and (sort of) eye-catching words that describe this film:Colourful, friendly, animal-orientated, funny, exciting, well-plotted, cute, yellow, enjoyable, gorgeous, lovely, well-worth-watching!Not only all that, but this film also has songs sung by the one and only Jack Johnson! :-)This film starts with a wee monkey/ape called George in Africa, who is very curious about everything in the jungle around him, even some animals who would rather not have his company! All in all he is rather lonely and not as happy as he could be...Meanwhile, in New York, a man called Ted works in a museum with a business going underway. Ted decides to do something which will bring popularity to the museum, but it's going to be difficult...Not all adults may like it, but otherwise, enjoy "Curious George"! :-)

I wasn't expecting much from this animated film but I have to say that I surprisingly enjoyed it. It was light-hearted and humorous. It was kind of a refreshing to watch a film that wasn't full of pop culture references that most animated films have these days, instead in focuses more on the story. It manage to be a good adaptation from the book. The cast all do a good job with their vocal performances and there were some pretty funny scenes. Drew Barrymore's voice is great in this as is Dick Van Dyke and Will Ferrell too, his performance was one of the funniest on animated movies. George was very funny and cute. The music was very good, the score by Jack Johnson was excellent. The animation was great to watch, its incredible how the created different kind of environments. In conclusion, this movie is very enjoyable for all ages and just leaves you a smile on your face.

CURIOUS GEORGE is a movie that has made my day when I had watched it. I remembered that. I really don't care what anyone says about renaming the man with the yellow hat to Tod or Ted or whomever the film creators named him to. This movie was great. Finally, a film I've seen that is relaxing and doesn't involve picking your nose and more gross "humor". I could almost fall asleep in the movie theater dreaming of balloons and the sky and.. happy thoughts I guess I should say.It was quite some time ago since I have seen this movie which was in 2006, but I remember they found something in the jungle, and that reminded me a bit of Indiana Jones. I have never watched any Indiana Jones film, unless I have and It was too long ago that I don't remember it, also it reminded me of the Rugrats movie in the opening scene with the refrigerator. That made me smile..I recommend this movie to anyone of all ages.
