It's not hard to see that the highly rated reviews posted here are plants from those involved with the movie.A closer look at the profiles of those that give the highly rated reviews clearly shows that the profiles were created to review this movie (likely created around the time of the completion of filming but months before the film's distribution). When reviewers have only been in existence for less than a year prior to the movie release and give it 9 or 10 stars, with that movie being the only movie they review (granted, several reviewed another movie as well - though the identical other movie - wow... what a sheer coincidence!), the numbers are inflated to reflect those higher numbers.Don't believe them. This movie is pure dreck and the acting, directing, and script are beyond laughable. Stay away from this one with a ten-foot pole (or longer if you can find one!) You've been warned.

Anyone who thinks this is the ordinary cabin in the woods scary movie will be only one percent correct. There were twists, turns, and I could not predict at any point in this movie by filmmaker Jane Clark, what would happen next. It is very unassuming at first, but if you choose to be presumptuous, you will be wrong, and then taken aback by this horror- comedy as well. I am a lover of all things horror for many years. I can honestly say I learned early on that Crazy Bitches was not of the ordinary. The story line was such that I was afraid for the characters that truly held their own. Cathy DeBuono is always a joy to watch as well Mary Jane Wells. Samantha Colburn, and John W. McLaughlin, what a character. I would guarantee to all my horror loving family and friends hands down.

This movie was unwatchably bad. I make it a habit to watch all horror genre entries, from the awful to the brilliant, and this one, this, this was the worst.I wonder what exactly constitutes "good acting" according to the positive reviews but when I think of "good acting" (e.g. Ellen Burstyn, Kevin Spacey, Sarah Snook) I imagine something that is exactly the opposite of the "performances" in this film. They might have been reading their lines off of cue cards, I dunno.Whoever this "Jane Clark" is, I have no idea, never heard of her before this, but if you want to see a brilliant horror director for inspiration, check out Jennifer Kent. As a writer/director she could mop the floor with this one.

I caught this film at Q-Cinema in Ft. Worth Texas and enjoyed every minute of it. It's a hilarious and suspenseful roller coaster ride that is sure to make you laugh and keep you on your toes. Excellent performances and chemistry between the ensemble cast and superb directorial choices from Jane Clark. It's not easy to bring together a piece mixing comedy with slasher and who-done-it mystery, and Clarke does it with nothing but complete style. I loved her first movie "Meth Head" and am beyond impressed with her range as a filmmaker. Beyond two thumbs up!
