this movie is borderline average...certainly it is better than most other reviewers suggest...it does drag...its average average average...nothing more...barely that...but iv'e seen worse...so much more worse...4 stars may be just a little generous of me but it kept me entertained...some good acting towards the end...the couple running from the killer were convincing enough for me...the front cover does suggest you are in for a gore feast...well no...very little gore in fact...go into this with little expectation and it will entertain you enoughwell yes and that's it reallyI could barely recommendbut if its all you have then give it a gocheers

I watched this film last night, i though i would rent a horror/scary film from blockbusters and i got this one out. The opening scenes were so long winded, the conversations between characters seemed not to lead anywhere. The story line seemed so poor to me, she gave him HIV and then she goes to meet someone else but she is killed by the man she infected ( i think she may have been doing it for a long time to different people) Then when he dumps the body it just happened to be the man she was going to meet, was in the forest and saw him dumping the body. Then he chased them ( did he ever finish burying the body??) and they got into a car and he somehow found them from a different direction they came from and killed the bloke. I think the severed head was the only good thing in the film as it was quite realistic. and then when the woman ran she happened to fall over in front of him so he could stab her with a spade!! AND THEN IT FINISHED!! What a relief, It was the most pointless film i have ever watched...please steer well clear of it, it is just so poorly made, i counted only 5 different people in it, and the scene where he kills her is so unrealistic and they only swear in it and thats it!! Thats it from me...STEER WELL CLEAR!!

This movie was so bad it looked like a home movie. In one scene, the camera very slowly and gradually tilts down, then moves back up into place again. The sound is crackly, and occasionally fades out then in again. In another scene, the camera man is just visible in a mirror. Then came the scene with instructions how to put down a tent... which, believe me, went on for ages and was completely irrelevant to the plot. Most scenes dragged on with conversations that were not entirely relevant either. In my opinion these were just to fill out the movie and make it longer. Even with these scenes added it was very short. The only good thing about it was the severed head, which did look quite realistic.

Cold Grip (2004) is about a man who has a one night stand with an odd woman whom he meets at The Los Angeles International Airport. After talking with her and spending the night drinking together, he takes her home to his hotel room. The two have a wild night in the bath tub and in bed. Next morning, the man wakes up and finds a strange message written in lipstick on the bathroom mirror (a frowning face with the letters H.I.V. next to it). He just got the A.I.D.S. virus from this woman. We find out that the crazy woman stalks men at the airport, sleeps with and photographs these lonely guys (she has a big collection of snaps). The guy freaks out in his hotel room for a few days. After collecting himself, the guy snoops around town finding out where she lives. Before finding her, he carefully plans his revenge. The guy rents out a garage and buys a van. The next night he cruises the streets looking for her. By luck he finds her and exacts a painful and drawn out scheme of torture and mutilation. During the last night of her life, she planned on meeting another victim. But he was saved when she disappeared. After the brutal slicing and dicing the femme fatal received, the guy had to get rid of the body. So he goes out to the hills to bury her A.I.D.S. riddled corpse, But irony would play a trick on the saved dude. He's out with his girlfriend camping in the hills. The nosy lucky dude watches the unlucky H.I.V. sucker bury the body. Instead of leaving he causes a ruckus, alerting the crazed man dumping the body. Intent on not getting caught, he adds two more bodies to the pit.The movie could have been a whole lot better if the film makers kept the film just between the crazy guy and the evil woman. If the torture scenes were dragged out longer and if they omitted the lame scenes between the "lucky" dude and his girlfriend I would have gave this movie a higher score. But they just couldn't leave well enough alone. Not bad for a low budget movie filled with small time actors. I kind of liked it.Recommended.
