sdm-63280 The video was very informative as well an interesting. I did not know we as woman did not get as much credit we deserved. One thing about this video it has proven that woman is smarter than what they give us credit for. If I had a daughter I would show this video to her because it will show that she can be and do whatever she wants no matter what man may say to her that she cannot be a computer science engineer.
itsjustusthree Great movie exposing the troubles that women face on a daily basis in respect to the workplace and contribution to industry.
sasha_mesinas The video is filled with fairly recent data and statistics that really open your eyes to the lack of gender diversity in the tech world. However, I think that lack of gender diversity isn't solely seen in tech industry but across many fields for woman. Still, the video does shed a light to how women aren't always respected, given credit or promoted in their tech fields. It was a great film to watch, with amazing interviews of successful woman who didn't give up a job they love no matter the hardship of sometimes being the only girl in the room.
gavinmcinelly-96812 CODE takes a topic that is, often times, not discussed in a general setting, and brings it right in the viewer's safe space, shining light on the gender gap that is clearly present in today's world, and has been present since working first began. The documentary does a good job of exploring the gap in the industry of coding, but also is able to relate it to other occupations by showing how prone an occupation in which most of us don't really know about is to gender discrimination. It also does a good job of showing us that we should be introducing special courses, such as coding, to students in grade school so they can have a better understanding of what it is, and if it's something they might be interested in doing.
