Gerda Klar They did a pretty good job, it is a little rough on editing and camera, but they were working clearly working on a budget, the writing was just as good as any studio film. And the acting good. I agree I did enjoy the play between the various characters it Tiffany and Struckmann did a pretty damn funny job at times. Well done. I understand that it was made on an extremely low budget, and some people love to compare those to large studio films, but this seems hardly fair, These guys made a good little film with a solid story. The acting was solid throughout even if the editing and camera work could have been better. and like peter said it is made to tell a serious story about a very big problem and making a film to depict it is inspiring.
marchusweller What a great little independent film, certainly it was done on a small budget. But they really did a good job with what they had. The story would have been amazing if made on a big budget. The lead actor Tino Struckmann did a great job leading it, solid humor and acting, a little touch of Die Hard humor, he will do great in Hollywood. Great supporting cast and some funny little smart comments with a humor ties it together well. it was a low budget indie film certainly, but that being said, the story was good and I certainly do not agree that the acting was bad. I found the roles believable and very well preformed honestly.
don zimmerman it was a good little action film, sure it could have been shot and edited better, but all in all well done. the acting is better then most low budget films I have seen, the storyline starts a little slow, but comes together well in the end. based on real events should make it worth watching. the fight scenes seems very real and the play between the two leads is reminiscent of moonlighting, well done and a little funny at times, which is good as most low budget action takes itself far to serious. i would love to see what these guys can do with more money on their next film, they have the right ideas but could have done with a little more time and funding
rogerwalters I don't think the critics are being fair here, it is a ultra low budget film, I saw an interview with the director and they did it for under 40k, that is not even possibly, could never have been done in Hollywood. so they did a great job, and with a solid storyline. yes it started a little slow and the editing was a bit off, but the actors were great. and did a great job. Loved Mac and Tiffany, and the bad guy played by Jack Dimich have a beer and enjoy, still better then some of the studio films I've seen lately I hope Hollywood takes note and gives these guys a bit more money next time, think they can do something great
