sabyasachi001 For the last few years...a good film for the kids has been hard to come by. After the era of the master director like Satyajit Ray and Tapan Singha real good children movies were made very few in numbers. This film not only rises the hope of viewers to expect some real good children movies in the coming future but also takes the children movies of Indian cinema to a new height.I would really like to congratulate the writers and directors of this movie, for such wonderful work. Making a children film is not a easy task, as the performance the child actors, the music and above all the story all should be appropriate. In this movie, all the children artists have given such amazing performance, we should really be proud to present this film to all over world. It doesn't have the mind blowing special effects like Harry Porter or Chronicles of Narnia but they really acted not any less than the child stars of the Hollywood movies. The story itself is very relevant in this city life of ours, as we here don't look to get in trouble for any reason...saving a dog is the least of it. We also ignore the feelings of children so often, compelling them always to accept our decisions. We make them like ourselves, always submit ourselves to oppressive forces, how unjust those may be, to avoid inconvenience. We teach them the right principles but a wrong way to live with those principles. We do not encourage them to live life exercising those principles. The film shows the fight of the gang, "Chillar party" against the proud minister in their own way. It touches the hearts of the viewers and this is the success of the film.
Shubham Sharma To express this film in a review is not going to be easy for anyone. It's not a normal orthodox or formula film with few children but it's a more natural spontaneous daily account of a society.Starting with the nicknames so honest that it reminded me many of those my nicknames. All the cast was so honest in their approach except 'Jhangya drinking milk with his father having a drink' and 'googly'(i really can't digest him/her).Acting-I noticed nobody acting in the movie everybody was just so natural. It's a satire on media and politics of India told in a manner that many of viewers might had found tough to figure out.Now kudos to director of this movie very few times i have seen Indian kids doing it so naturally on screen and it's one of those times and it must be patience of director. Entertainment is there for everybody.
vgandhi "One of the best movies in recent times" - This statement may seem biased if you haven't seen this movie. It's always a daunting task for movie makers to weave a story around a long list of characters and ensure that everybody get an equal focus. This movie is a perfect example of such wizardry. The story is about a bunch of society children who fight to save a dog. But, the manner in which the story has been knit and portrayed is commendable.Every child in this movie has a distinct character. You will be able to co-relate each one with friends around you when you were children. It's not worth if you get to know the story of this movie from others because if you don't see it, you won't know what you are missing. A perfect weekend watch for your family. This movie doesn't fail to pass several messages for the children as well as the adults. A special mention for 'Jhangiya' who is an absolute delight to watch.
Ashish Chawla CHILLAR PARTY is not just for kids, but for grownups as well. A story of grit and determination, it works not just as an entertainer, but also advocates a message rather strongly. A film that deserves to be tax-exempted so that it reaches out to a wider audience. A small film with a gigantic spirit... Encourage this one!Every kid in the film pitches in a winning performance - Jhangiya enacted by Naman, Shaolin Divij, Enclyclopedia Sanath, Silencer Vedant, Aflatoon Aarav, Panauti Chinmay, Toothpaste Sherya, Akram Rohan, Second Hand Visshesh and Fatka Irfan Khan. It would be unfair and unjust to single out just one of them. As a matter of fact, you just can't help but fall in love with each of them. Ditto for the supporting actors, who enact the role of the parents and also the conniving politician.
