hobbitgrl8191 My only complaint is that while it starts out with the song "Take Me Home" (one of Phil Coulter's originals for CT if I remember correctly)which sets the viewer up for a normal Celtic Thunder show, the rest of the show is unlike anything they had done before. Pretty much all of the songs were made famous by American artists. While it lacks any of the traditional Irish feel that previous DVDs at least somewhat had, all of the songs are performed extremely well. There is one song that is sung by a woman which is surprising, but the she sings it well and with the help of the slightly comedic acting of Keith and Damian it provides a nice transition into Keith's song. "It's Entertainment" and "Storm" were filmed at the same time and it shows. There are similar set pieces and the woman I mentioned previously also sings in "Storm". Further confirmation comes from watching the bonus feature in which both George and Paul reference "Storm". All of the songs are well sung and performed, but there are 3 in particular which stand out to me: Neil, Keith and Ryan singing "Hallelujah", Paul singing "You Raise Me Up" (previously seen on the "Take Me Home DVD but is still breathtaking) and the ensemble singing "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For". The guys are singing and performing just as well on this DVD as any other DVD and I would recommend it to any Celtic Thunder fan.
erin_frances Considering how well they CAN perform and how great some of their previous shows have been, this one was sub-par and a bit of a let down. They should stick to their original style. There is one performance that is particularly irksome because it is sung by one woman and because there was an entirely different woman lip syncing along with the the first woman's voice. This annoyed me because the first woman does not accurately get credited for her work. Another bothersome part of this is that Celtic Thunder is an ALL MALE singing group, so there should not be women singing. That song does not have any of the other members even singing along, they just stand there looking ridiculous and "acting" out a scene. I think this show has become too theatrical and forgotten that the music itself is the best entertainment.
