trikinawel I watched this movie today at the beginning it was OK but i actually felt that it was too long because the music is not as good as Disney channel other movies like teen beach movies but there are some pretty good song especially the duet between Mitchie and Shane it was the best song in the movie i didn't like the choreography so much but at least the message of the movie was good camp rock is about a girl who want to spend her summer vacation at a musical camp called camp rock i liked that Shane wants to discover who is the mystery girl who is singing because that reminds me of Eric from the little mermaid when Ariel sings to him and he want to be with this mystery girl with the great voice so i liked that from the movie over all it's not so bad but not as good as other Dcoms.

Jackson Booth-Millard Disney wanted to cash on the success (on video anyway) of High School Musical, so instead of going with a spin-off, they went with creating another musical mash up for kids. Basically teenage Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato) is a girl desperate for a great summer at a prestigious rock music camp, but she can only attend if she and her mother Connie (Maria Canals-Barrera) work in the kitchen as cooks. Also visiting the camp for a career revamp and to watch rising stars is Shane Gray (Joe Jonas), teen lead singer of the pop band Connect 3, with fellow members Jason (Kevin Jonas) and Nate (Nick Jonas). He overhears a girl, Mitchie obviously, singing a song with a great voice, and he is desperate to find this girl, and not realising he has been talking to her quite a lot. There is the point where the bitchy girl exposes Mitchie as being int he kitchen and lying about it, but everyone forgives her and she does eventually get to sing and love with Shane for the happy ending. Oh, and the last minute contestant of the Rock Camp is the winner. Also starring Meaghan Jette Martin as Tess Tyler, Alyson Stoner as Caitlyn Geller, Julie Brown as Dee La Duke, Daniel Fathers as Brown Cesario, Anna Maria Perez De Tagle as Ella and Jasmine Richards as Peggy. The songs are very cheesy (only one or two are nearly catchy I will admit), the young performers are too naive and predictable, and that is exactly how the film is as well, so while the kids will be entertained, I wasn't completely. Adequate!

CandiceTN I liked it. I loved all there songs and the way they did things as far as filming. location, cool events, plot, and music. I'm ready for the next one. The only thing i ask is that they should try to be as original as possible People are already comparing high school musical & camp rock. I think my favorite characters is mitchie, caitlyn, peggy, and ella. Mitchie is cool. Caitlyn is a trip. You gotta love peggy. Peggy is cool because she breaks out of the infamous shadow of tess. Ella is just ella. Camp Rock is different because first of all, it has a whole lot of twist. You have a falling star who was a camp rock member once. You have a girl that has a dream about making music, but needs to just just be herself. Her True self. Then, you have a jealous girl who tries her best to get all the attention, tries to go with this famous star, and has hidden problem. You have caitlyn who is important to mitchie and very close to her. It's just a great movie all together. And they're coming out with another one that's gonna premiere this year, ironically so is high school musical!!! Ah... I can't wait. 10 Stars!!!

José Emiliano Covarrubias Ameca This guys called the jonas brothers thinks that they play rock, but they're very wrong, that stupid music is called pop!!! pop and no rock!!!... i hate that all the girls are in love of those stupids XD... oh my god if there is another movie of the jonas brothers, i really hate them, they are just part of Disney, and Disney is for girls, i just like the Disney pixar movies, they are good, but the movies of Disney for the TV and the movie theatre are stupid, jonas brothers 3d, camp rock, cheetah girls. all that stupid movies, i really hate them XD... i have not watched this movie, and i will never watch it in all my life!!... i wont watch it also if there is someone trying to shoot me if i don't watch it, i prefer die to watch stupid things... thnx
