Story : There is no story in this movie. It is all about how a common man reacts & questions the current political scenario.Performances : Pawan kalyan is amazing in this movie. He has given a power packed performance. Especially in the pre-climax episodes, where he delivers a solid speech to all the youngsters, his performance is just excellent. Only an actor with so much conviction could pull of this role. Kota Srinivasa Rao and Prakash Raj are excellent. Especially Prakash Raj did a superb job. Nasser was under-utilized. Tamannah goes overboard many times. Brahmanandam and Ali entertain with their impeccable comedy timing.Story-Screenplay-Direction-Dialogues : Story is okay. Screenplay is good. Direction is superb. Puri Jagan should be commended for daringly attempting this script as it has many references to politicians and political scenarios (For example, Nasser's character resembles Ex-AP CM Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy a lot). Dialogues are just extraordinary. It needs lot of conviction to write such intense dialogues. Hatsoff to Puri Jagannadh.Music & Background Score : Music by Manisharma is bad but the Background Score is just terrific. Manisharma has given some really powerful music for many scenes (especially in pre climax scenes).Other Departments : Cinematography, editing, artwork e.t.c are good.Final Piece : The plus points of the film are extra ordinary performances by Pawan Kalyan, Kota, Prakash Raj, excellent dialogues, gripping narration and pre climax scenes. On the flip side, Tamannah's characterization is poor. Also, it has many references to real time political incidents indirectly (For example Viceroy Hotel incident). I just loved it.

One of the finest films from Pawan Kalyan. It is flawed yet so adorable because of the societal relevance it has.I like this man called Pawan Kalyan for his choice of films and subjects. Specifically this one, where he takes on the political system by being a journalist. I loved his dialogs more and his delivery of dialogs seems to have been considerably improved. I suppose that he loves saying words which will add value to his personality and also give back something to the society. I have learnt in the past few days that he is a philanthropist who does his philanthropy silently. Exactly, that is how the film begins with, and it was refreshing to see a hero condemn the super macho role, and be humane in at least a few aspects.Yes, he can pop up a dance and beat as many villains as possible, if I forgive that part, I felt there are many good areas in the film. The climax speech he gave for calling upon people to support him, the last dialog he tells about his background and his mother and even the wonderful dialog he tells about girls. Actually, girls are very ordinary but the way a boy looks makes them extraordinary. So, I liked many dialogs and aspects of the character. Puri Jagannadh just writes dialogs on anything he is given, from a tissue paper to a super computer, he can get words from anywhere and that too most of them are really good and indeed pertinent. They offer something to say. I have disliked many of his films, even the hits like "Pokiri" and "Businessman" but I liked this above those. Mind you, I say I like this film and not loved it. Also, I think that this film is way above rest in the recent Pawan Kalyan films.I liked this film, and am going with a 3/5 for this one. It is watchable just because there is Pawan Kalyan who seems so natural and at ease. He seems to play himself here and also if anyone else would have done this part, the following the film created within, would not have been justified.

first things first, pawan kalyan has never attempted a movie based on politics and social responsibility earlier... so one would have imagined this to be another tagore kind of a film(even puri stated that in many interviews) but believe me it is nowhere near to that masterpiece. This script has lot of flaws and a lagging screenplay in the 1st half. The 2nd heroine gabriela wasn't good at all. Neither she looked good nor she amazes you with her performance. Her character should have been given to someother known face. But the most important thing is you never feel the lagging screenplay in the 1st half thanks to some wonderful one-liners uttered by pawan. 2nd half is a big relief and pawan was at his best, probably this is his career best performance. pre-climax dialogues make you think and here puri's pen needs to be appreciated for writing simple dialogues which can be understood by today's youth. Go for it if you love message oriented flicks ,these come very rarely in tollywood.

Story Rambabu (Pawan Kalyan) is a mechanic and a responsible citizen, who fights against the odds in society by reacting to the news reports. He gets noticed by Ganga (Tamanna), working in regional news channel and persuades him in joining her team as journo. Rambabu accepts it and joins the TV Channel. He comes across opposition leader Jawahar Naidu(Kota Srinivasa Rao), who gives hard time to CM (Nasser) for making his son Rana Babu (Prakash Raj) taking the CM position. With few situations, the fight between the Rambabu and Rana Babu sets in and the rest is to be watched on-screens. Plus Points : Pawan Kalyan has done a superb job in this movie and he shoulders the movie admirably well. His sheer force and powerful screen presence is the biggest asset for the movie and Puri Jagan's powerful political duologue's have worked well when uttered by Pawan Kalyan. He has also showcased his humorous side quite well. In the current political climate of the state, some duologue's will strike a chord. For example, "Aadiki dhoola ekkuvai kurchi ekkithe meeku dhoola teeripoddi" etc. evoked a superb response from viewers. Tamanna looks gorgeous. She only looks gorgeous (More on this later). Prakash Raj and Kota Srinivasa Rao have done a good job as the evil politicians. Nasser is dignified as Chief Minister Reddy. Tanikella Bharani is alright. Brahmanandam and Ali bring a few laughs as TV channel creative heads. The film's second half is a major asset, with powerful political elements and highly charged emotional sequences. The way Pawan rallies the youth of the state, the way he counters Prakash Raj and speaks about National Integration etc are highly entertaining. The comedy scene in the second half where Pawan and Brahmanandam read the news jointly had crowds in splits of laughter. Some scenes between Pawan and Tamanna have come out well, especially where Pawan tries to be timid and shy on purpose. The pre-climax episodes will give great cheer to Pawan's fans and Mani Sharma's background score works like a charm. Minus Points : As I said earlier, Tamanna looks gorgeous in the movie but her characterization is very disappointing. One wonders why women in Puri Jagan's films have to have extreme personalities. Ganga's character is way too loud and actually gets on your nerves at times. Some scenes should have been toned down. Like the scene where Prakash Raj and his MLA's feel a tremor in the building towards the end. Also, there is no substance in the plot. But for Pawan's sheer magnetism and some good duologue's in places, this movie has nothing in terms of story. All the characters are superficial. Prakash Raj's character in particular had great scope for picturization as a cunning and evil politician, but Puri only scrapes the surface. Also, there is no strong motive for Prakash Raj to betray his father as both of them are on good terms and both want to see Prakash Raj as the CM. The first half could have been more entertaining. Gabriela is irritating as a TV channel bossTechnical Analysis Cinematography by Shyam K Naidu is good and the grading, picture quality is good and colorful. Musical scores by Mani Sharma are good while the background score is an asset elevating the powerful scenes. Puri Jagannadh's direction is okay while the duologue's had the needed essence. Screenplay could have better and racy in the first half. Editing is fine yet few scenes can be trimmed to make it much crispier.Final Verdict A sincere attempt by Puri Jagannadh. Watch Pawan Kalyan's terrific on- screen presence in Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu
