When her mother falls for a wealthy man, Lina Cruz must move in with her new stepfather and transfer from an urban East Los Angeles public high school to an exclusive prep school in Malibu, where she struggles to fit in with her affluent new peers. iluvdorksohyeah I have seen all of the movies. Though they were predictable and not my favorite, they were not as horrible as this movie. The thing that bugged me the most, and bugged me in past movies too, was the cheering. They go to these competitions and break the rules. Some of the stunts they did were illegal and would not have made it in a real competition. You might be thinking, "How would you know?" I used to be a competition cheerleader and dancer. My coach made sure we knew the rules inside and out. If they did some of the stunts they did in this movie, they would have never won or made it that far. Safety is big in the cheerleading world and those rules are made for safety. Breaking them is a big no no.Another thing is that the main team's dance at the end sucked. It was sloppy, uncreative, and just bad. I, and the other girl's I cheered with, agreed that the other team (with the "bad girl" character) did a much better job. It was insulting to see the main team do so badly and be treated as if they were awesome. In past Bring It On movies the final dance those teams did were so much better. Finally, the acting. The whole cast wasn't horrible, but a few of the actresses over acted and seemed to be trying to hard.So overall, unless you have time to waste, don't watch this movie. Watch the other Bring On Movies before you watch this. It is a waste of time and a waste of a movie.
callanvass How this series has managed to spawn five direct to video sequels, is beyond me, because the 1st didn't even warrant a sequel, even thought it was somewhat enjoyable. Fight To The Finish gets by on it's likable characters and enthusiasm, in an otherwise, pretty bland entry. One thing that bugged me about this movie, and all of the rest is, every Bring It On movie, has seemingly started with a horrible dream sequence from the lead character, why is that? they look corny. Thankfully the film strays away from the racial tension for the most part. It's just so clichéd now a days, having all the racial tension. Christina Milian makes for the best lead since, Hayden Panettiere. She's not a spoiled brat, and made a very likable lead. Fight to the Finish, is of course predictable. When you've seen one of these movies, you've pretty much seen them all. Heroine forms a cheer leading squad, who encounters the spoiled brat from the other team, only to challenge them near the end. I Got pretty much what I bargained for, but thankfully it wasn't as bad as I expected.Performances. Christina Milian is surprisingly a likable and charismatic lead. She's far from great, but she manages to be less whiny then most of the heroines, and that made the film much more bearable, as a result. Cody Longo is better then most of the male love interests that are in this series, but that's not really a compliment. His chemistry with Milian is OK. Rachele Brooke Smith has to be the most bland foe, I have seen in the series. She gave a boring performance, and as a result, I was bored watching her. Holland Roden is a little underdeveloped as Skylar, I would have liked to have learned more about her, because her character had potential.Bottom line. Fight To The Finish was a harmless watch. A little too bland for my liking at times, but It's one of the better DTV sequels in the series. That being said, I really hope they stop here. Worth a check, if your big into the series5/10
Keara King As a fellow All Star Cheerleader review I found this movie one of the worst cheer movies ever! The cheerleaders were more like grinding and not cheering for one thing, and also portrayed cheerleaders like slutty witchy girls. As the years of Bring It On movies go on and on, the acting, plot lines and everything gets crappier and crappier, no doubt they will make another crap Bring It On movie, but this one will have to do with one of the worsts so far. This one happens to be Christina Millan's character from LA gets an AMAZING opportunity to live in Malibu and acts like a total snob about how she doesn't want to live there and acts witchy to everyone and about everything, she dresses trashy throughout the movie in skimpy and inappropriate clothes. ALSO this movie had horrible Lation accents and the movie also made very degrading and almost racist comments. If you do See the movie, you will see what I mean...
Sherazade They took ideas from Bring it on(All or nothing) and Bring it on (in it to win it) and still it turned out bad. And with all that Spanish speaking the film should have been subtitled or at least advertised as a bilingual film.Christina Milian shouldn't even bother quitting her day job as a singer, she could barely carry this film (it's no wonder her character kept seeking out her two friends for back-up). Let's not even get into the stereotypes because I could spend all day on all that crap. And could somebody please explain to me what "E" news would be doing at a cheer-leading championship? At least try and make some things believable people!!!
