jduane-70160 Awful even for a kids movie. The plot doesn't make sense and the characters are very odd.
ElementalFive Every once in a while you run into a film that is not only unique, but also stands up against movies made by much larger production companies. The characters in "Bold Eagles" and the world they inhabit are whimsical, cute and full of life, and have just enough edge to remind you there are villains in the story line. You'll probably laugh out loud more than once with the antics of goofball "Uncle Richard" and some of the other cute folks who are scrambling to keep their park and its inhabitants safe. This family film is also a great introduction to the kind of quality coming out of Norway. A lot of kids animation has much more snark and satire woven into the script, and it is nice to see something a little less snarky with just good fun. Definitely worth a watch and safe for all ages.
