This is soooo bad I won't mention the actors and give them a break. At least some of them. First of all it's another stupid film where the lead, a dumb bimbo goes around looking terrified. So terrified that she suddenly pulls out this huge gun from her purse. Nice going, idiot. She runs around with her too long bleached hair blowing in the wind and does no acting at all. I do believe Alexandra Paul stars in this. Don't know the bimbo but she's awful. Won't go into the plot, which is so overdone as the acting it isn't worth it. LMN once in a while brings us some good work. But most of the time they cast these vacant blondes, some definitely over the hill for playing a young lead who go around with long blonde tresses and a cell phone. And that's the plot to most of these soap films that makes one puke. The problem is that they are so bad that you can't change the channel. You are too busy laughing at the acting. So, keep it up, LMN, you never disappoint us with your silly plots and bad acting.

Great story, excellent cast, great acting. The phenomenon of high school jocks betting on their ability to lay targeted girls made the news at a high school in Piedmont, CA recently. Another good movie that takes on this theme is The Rage, otherwise known as Carrie 2,from 1999.A recorded sexual encounter goes out of control as a jealous ex girlfriend acquires it and it goes viral. The girl who lost her virginity and was unknowingly recorded engaging in various sex acts is now humiliated as her reputation and her life is completely ruined. Now, everyone on earth has access to her sexual encounter. Things quickly go from bad to nightmarish and the consequences are deadly. A superior Lifetime Movie.

Widowed mother Alexandra Paul (as Michelle Ross) is happy when high school-aged daughter Amanda Bauer (as Lexi) is asked out by hunky football star Andy Fischer-Price (as Gregory "Greg" Nickels). Turns out the handsome jock wants to win a $50 bet he can bed any girl, even a virgin with some prudish rep. To prove his conquest, Mr. Fischer-Price records the encounter on his laptop. Missing her "bigger-than-two-hot-dogs" ex-boyfriend, jealous Katie Gill (as Carleigh Taylor) learns about the recording, sneaks into the boys' locker room, and makes it viral... The public sex tape causes a chain reaction of tragedy..."Betrayed at 17" starts out by updating a familiar plot - guy dates girl on a bet, then seriously likes her; she finds out, dumps him, but they get together in the end. This "Lifetime" TV-movie does not follow the formula. It will likely keep you watching and guessing. Most of the promotional material mentions a suicide occurring; there is no suicide. A parallel story involves Ms. Paul's druggie son Jake Thomas (as Shane), who has been kicked out of the house. Mr. Thomas performs his role well and becomes more prominent as the film progresses. Campbell, Conradt and Sanders move it nicely.****** Betrayed at 17 (10/9/11) Doug Campbell ~ Alexandra Paul, Jake Thomas, Katie Gill, Andy Fischer-Price
