An year ago, one could only think of Khans as the Superstars of bollywood, but then suddenly a young, charming as well as talented actor came and changed the equation. Ranbeer Kapoor has always been my favorite, reason being his sense of choosing the scripts. He has always taken nice scripts right from 'Wake up sid' , ' Rocketsingh', 'Rajneeti', 'Rockstar' and my all time favourite "Barfi', but as they say heavy paychecks can make the most talented people do the cheapest things one can imagine. Directed by Abhinav Kashyap who has previously directed 'Dabangg', 'Besharam' is nothing but one more masala flick which lowers the standard of bollywood.Babli (Ranbeer Kapoor), is a thief who steals cars and sell them to earn money, and like our bollywood heroes, he is the man with a golden heart who gives all the money to the orphanage he lives in. He meets Taara(Pallavi Sharda) a middle class girl who lives with her mother, and falls in love with her. By mistake, Babli steals Tara's car and when she get to know this, Babli promises her that he will bring the car back and leave all the illegal things that he does.Besharam, is the height of bollywood stereotypism, there is nothing that we haven't seen before, and what makes it worse is the direction. Even though Abhinav Kashyap's first outing 'Dabangg' was not a good film by any means but it was way better then what Besharam is. Dialogs are bad, jokes don't work, songs are boring and too many.Talking about performances, Ranbeer tried to enter into the Salmaan Zone, but forgot to read the warning "Only for brainless people", though the actor tried very hard to look convincing, but the story and the characterization was so weak that it did not go to the level that we expect from Ranbeer. Pallavi Sharda is a complete misfit, she has had one angry look throughout the movie, even in the romantic scenes. Rishi Kapoor as inspector Chulbul Chautala is as always brilliant, I wonder what made him work on such a pathetic script. Neetu Singh Kapoor is top notch as the cunning wife. Javed Jaffery as the bad guy is very good as well.'Besharam' is the biggest disappointment of the year so far, it had a mediocre director, a super talented main lead and a wonderful supporting cast but what came out on screen is a senseless, idiotic piece of cinema that we all have witnessed many times before. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this one even if someone gives you a free ticket.

So the movie should be rated 5 but I am giving it another grace point because it has a better screenplay then Ranbir's last YJHD. Although this movie has its fair share of goofs n where u r made like.. com'on ... but at least they are done in a way where they want you to know its deliberate and not shown as a matter for fact.I was going to avoid it, I avoided it for a bit, but then I saw it last night and I had few good laughs. The movie wasn't a drag. Don't see the trailer if you want to enjoy even more...If you are an Indian movie follower, I can bet you you have seen much worst recently under bigger names so don't be afraid and give it a shot. I hope you will enjoy

watched BESHARAM ..I am not quite sure that its makers are filthy rich..well even if they are they can't be very rich after this flick..cause its awful...its like they just wake up one day & said ""hey guys lets make a movie today..& while we'r at it lets make it with the best cast in the industry(today)..& songs put sh!tload of songs in it..story?? f**k story..just make a movie"" this kinda attitude of makers slaps you in the face while watching it...I'm not fan of retard n double meaning Comedy/ies but this is way worse than those(least they do their best)..BUT they these people wasted their extremely talented cast with their sh!t plot n script(still cast did what they could_I gave it 2* just cause of them) AND more importantly 2+hours of your life...it has nothing, nothing to watch I say _DO NOT WATCH_ no matter what happens

'Besharam', again an awful and hackneyed movie has joined the list of masala movies. It is really hard to understand the structure of such kind of cinema which does not serve any purpose for the reason that it spoils the image of evolving Indian Cinema. A lot of money and talent are being wasted in such ventures and consequence is futile-in this era, such kind of cinema is running parallel with imaginative and quality cinema which should be stopped in order to create some peculiar and though-provoking films.Abhinav Kashyap tries to reinvent the charisma of "Dabangg"- it had Salman with some good elements in contrast he now presents "Besharam" with a wafer thin plot, clichés, songs in almost every frame, Ranbir's butt cleavage, warehouse climax etc. It basically relies on Kapoor's but fails to get anywhere near to an entertainment due to an absurd screenplay and plot. Abhinav has great actors but it is impossible to act without a script.BESHARAM is Ranbir's debut with masala film, which is a fiasco. I wonder what made him work on 'Besharam', maybe because lately every A-list actor is working on these kinds of films.'Besharam' is set in 'Delhi', like most of the movies. Babli (Ranbir Kapoor) raised in an orphanage, is a street smart car mechanic who steals cars and gives all the money to his orphanage. He falls in love with Tara (Pallavi Sharda) but inadvertently steals her car. Now Babli decides to get her car back from Chandel (Javed Jaferry), a criminal.A lot of things happen in the zig-zag screenplay but nothing is consistent. You might be amused in some moments but those are forced and do not go well with the narration. It contains some crude and toilet humor with awkward body languages which looks over the top and unnecessary. Jaaved Jaffrey's first villainous act leaves an impression but in second half he has been portrayed as a caricature still he managed the expressions right. The love story is of completely off track with indigestible change of heart is involved in it. The lead pair looks indifferent with Pallavi Sharda's stiff expressions and mannerisms; she looks distant and dances violently. On the other hand Rishi-Neetu chemistry looks better than Ranbir-Pallavi.Like "Dabangg", Besharm also tries to create the room for some gravity-defying action sequence in mostly in the ware house but does not offer anything new. Rishi Kapoor suddenly becoming Sunny Deol looks atrocious as he pulls out the freaking hand pump is atrocious and awkward. You do have to brace yourself for forced songs in every 15 minutes, it annoys you more and leaves no stone unturned to ruins whatsoever remains. You will forget the songs as soon as it finishes and movie goes to the next frame.Ranbir Kapoor took the affliction on his shoulders to maintain the graph of the character which he does brilliantly nonetheless. Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor do the usual stuff effortlessly. Jaaved Jaaferi is really good and leaves a mark for his upcoming films. All the efforts go in vain because nothing is memorable due to the weak script and narrative. In a nut shell, you will only like it if you have lost faith that there are some good movies.
