Jacob Muradyan Actually, it explains the most important thing to the most vulnerable group during just one hour - not so long, in fact. I would put 20 stars, but there is no such an option here. I watched it and I did like it. This movie shows the 'flip side' of today's culture of permissiveness. So many adults today are just like little children that have no one to spank them when they 'misbehave'. Whether it is family violence, hard drinking, drug addiction, crime or same-sex attraction, today everything shall be permissible to anyone. They are just little children who get angry once they hear a NO. Jesus said: "People hate Me as I keep telling them that their deeds are wrong". He also compared this world with little children sitting in a marketplace who are angry at those who do not want to behave as they like. The Bible says such people do not know their left and right, that is wrong and right. So it takes around an hour. Dare to assign time to this.
irinkavez The acting, like most Christian movies, is not GREAT but it's okay. The story line is also somewhat unrealistic...most of us probably won't end up in such extreme situations... but I guess that if it was a realistic, everyday plot line it would be pretty boring to watch. How Christians should go about responding to homosexuality is a difficult thing to try and capture and explain... no matter how you go about it you will be insulted and deemed as "hateful."I like how honest it is though, especially the interviews. Some people said it's unfair how Ray had a script to follow and people were "caught off-guard." If you think you know who you are and what you believe in, you should ALWAYS be ready to defend that, no matter how "off-guard" you are caught. He explains it to the people that he interviews without being rude or judgmental and most of them are very understanding in response. He is not out there trying to convert everyone- just telling them the truth about Christ, explaining it in a very simple way and leaves them to think about it. Whether they want to peruse said information or not is up to them. That's it-and that was done wonderfully!
nm4701284 That is the main purpose of the film: to remind us that if we are good friends to someone and we want to help, doesn't matter the circumstances, we need to speak up. That's something that people forgot along the history trying to be politically correct and not upset anyone. But we all know: truth hurts sometimes... and it hurts so much that the receiver is in denial. The subject of the film: if being gay or not is a sin, if it's right or not... it depends on how you look at the "6" or "9" drawn with chalk on asphalt. And... here's your chance to look at it from both sides and decide which one you like to see.The author: doesn't stop to amaze me with the logic and the simple arguments that he's talking to people and how he gets people to agree with him. He has an unique style. I watched "180" and to see how people turned around regarding abortion was just beautiful.I give it a 10 because the film is done beautiful, the cast and crew did a good job and the story is powerful.PS :) I don't care if you don't agree with me :) Is my opinion :)
D Bunnell Audacity the film is pretty good. Not perfect, as no film could be, but it addresses some important life issues well, without compromising truth or getting political about them. The performances are good enough to avoid the annoying way most "Christian" films seem to attract untalented actors and boring directors. One downside of the film--Ray Comfort sometimes confuses biblical repentance unto salvation with stopping sin to receive God's forgiveness; although at other moments he clearly presents the true gospel message that we are saved by Christ's sacrifice and grace alone and that there is nothing we can do to save ourselves.
