qballartandsketches Pacific Rim is visually stunning, with great performances from Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, and the others
pcbman You couldn't write any spoilers for this "movie". Not worth watching. If you thought Pacific Rim was borderline this will take you to the bottom. So many gaffs and terrible one liners that it was funny after 10 minutes. I tried to fill 5 lines of stuff to say about it but just couldn't put it together. Only thing worse than this would be watching Nascar or NBA. Just my opinion.
anitsuj I watched this on Netflix as part of my subscription (so I did not pay any more money than I normally would for watching another movie), so the only thing lost was the time I spent watching this movie. I should have spent the time pulling my own teeth... it would have been less painful! All I can say is whatever you do, stay clear of this movie. If you can bear to continue watching this film after 10 minutes, I would be surprised. The acting is the worst I have ever seen! What makes me sad is that the plot of the story is strong. The folks who made this movie could have done a great job. Look at the counterpart to this movie (not going to name the other movie title here)... the creators did a fantastic job with the same basic plot! The bottom line is that this particular movie is a disaster. The CGI is horrible (as if this were a computer project for a junior high school).
Smike93 This movie is utterly dreadful, although that is the precise point of these 'mockbusters'. My flatmate and I watch a s**t movie every other Sunday - we call it "S**t Movie Sunday." This one didn't disappoint. The highlights of this movie (i.e. the most 's**t' parts) are as follows:The moment when a 6-second clip of a jet flying across a sunset was re-used 5 times in a 10 minute action sequence. The 'Love Triangle' which lasts about 21 seconds.A homeless guy getting jumped in an alleyway by the main characters for no apparent reason. This movie is absolutely dreadful... please watch it at your own risk.
