Rectangular_businessman "Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters" is simply one of the funniest movies that I've seen in my entire life.I'm so glad that this film keep the same style from the original cartoon in which it was inspired, instead of trying to do something "epic" or "dramatic" (In my opinion, this was the fatal flaw of "The Simpsons" movie) This movie had all the delirious absurdity and bizarre situations that made like the cartoon, so any viewer who isn't a fan of this series probably won't enjoy this as much as I did. Personally, I think this was awesome.9.5/10
puttputtk Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters (2007)The film starts off with a bang. A musical intro by the band Mastadon makes the movie seem like its going to be awesome. Though I really really hate that band the song is the best part of the movie, its hilarious. As the rest of the film roles on it gets less funny, it starts good, like most episodes but slowly it starts to be to long. It shows how important it is for the show to be only 15 minutes long.As a huge fan of the show, I saw the Aqua Teen movie in theaters. At the time I was somewhat disappointed, but like most of the episodes, the second or third viewing is better. If you are a fan of the show and didn't like it the first time, try it again. on the other hand if you don't like the show don't even bother. One of the things that make it not really work, in my opinion, is its like the first 2 episodes (which I'm not a big fan of.) The Aqua Teens actually have a mission to do, or go trying to solve something. I know the original point of the show is they are crime solvers but the show works a lot better as them just sitting around and having things happen to them. Since the movie starts with them doing nothing really, its pretty good, The second half however when they go looking for things its starts to slow. The film is funny, it's just wasn't as good as the show, but if you are into the show its worth watching, 8/10
Chrysanthepop I have never watched the Aqua teen series and I wondered whether it would be wise to watch the movie first. It was a gamble and I chose to watch it. 'Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters' starts off hilarious but somewhere later on a some of the jokes fall flat and I thought it could have used more humour but gradually it picks up and the last half hour had me laughing out loud. These adorably weird characters, especially the paper cup, the meatwad and the french fries are quite a team. It is quite obvious that 'Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters' is not for everyone. Yes, the jokes are adult and can be described as vulgar (I wouldn't recommend taking kids to this movie) but there is hardly enough time to dwell on that because the pacing is good and the events unfold quickly. For me it's a good cheer up movie but I doubt that would be the case with many. I say just roll with it and see what happens.
wolfentertainment For you to understand this movie (if you can understand it at all) you have to watch the series to get to know the characters, then you watch this movie and you'll understand the sense of humor that they play with here. The film is crazy and goes very well with the whole ATHF things we have seen in the series, and what I liked very much was that they stayed close to the "ATHF spirit" if there's such a thing and they came up with new stuff and gags instead of using old gags or updating them the way that the South Park movie did. What I found most interesting was how they started talking about the origins of Shake, Frylock and Meatwad and then they just mess it around by giving twists and turns just to make it ridiculous. One thing I found odd was how they used Phil Collins' "In The Air Tonight" over and over again. All in all, the film is funny and wacky and it will please ATHF fans, if you never heard of the series or what the whole thing is about, DON'T watch the movie, you won't get it.
