mutyalarao aripaka It is a wonderful thriller movie I had ever seen in this whole earth. Such a perfect script. Though the First half seems to be moving a bit slow, the mystery starts unfolding in the second half justifying and answering every single question left earlier in the beginning. The screenplay is awesome. A struggling singer(Charmy) stays with her father and step-mother in Hyderabad. Amidst the inimical treatment from her step-mother, she leads a normal and modest life of studying and singing in chorus for part-time. She wants to get a break as a full-time singer. All goes well until one day she finds a strange conversation involving voices of two strangers and hers, recorded in her tape-recorder(which he always carries in her hand-bag). She is taken aback with this and later finds that one whole day had passed without her notice. The plot gets interesting with a series of puzzling events haunting her. She even finds a group of people trying to kill her. The story takes a twist with the cop(Jagapathi babu) and a taxi driver(Sasank) joining her to investigate "the missing day".Its a must-see movie!!!Anyday, Anywhere I will give a 10 to this movie!!ChandraSekhar Yeleti did it again after Aithey!! Kudos to him!!
rajashekar My words were WOW!!, after I watched this movie. Excellent movie in recent times!!! It seems like there is hope left that even Tollywood can produce a masterpiece like this. The movie provides everything - stupendous direction, each and every character very well crafted, timely songs, and mainly the suspense thats not let out till the end of movie. You are made to think about various things about the climax of the movie, and at the end entirely a very different outcome is shown. Honestly, I never thought Jagapathi Babu had such talent in him. He was quite amazing in the movie. The same thought about Charmi. I personally like her cute face. I have to agree that the guy from "AIYTHE" was just perfect for the cab driver role. The movie left me with a good feeling, and thanks to all those who made the movie a great success. So if you haven't watched the movie, its about time to do so!!
buddys-3 Fantastic movie, great story and a greater screenplay.Much better than the trash that Telugu filmdom has been reeling out last few years and a welcome break from the trashier Rayalaseema theme mayhem.A refreshing movie from the same team which made Aithey.Songs are really nice ,melodious and quite hummable.Jagapathi Babu in the role of a corrupt police officer with shades of gray,Charmy and cab driver with the glasses were really good.Pavan Malhotra has a very small role and suited the role to a T- that of a swami. This movie looks like its been inspired by the David Koresh character of the Waco,Texas infamy.Over all its a lovely indie movie and as I mentioned before a must see movie.
Uma Mahankali This movie starts off slow, but picks up the pace and engrosses the viewers soon enough. You cannot piece the puzzle together until almost the last 20 minutes, and some scenes seem disconnected until the time of the realization. But, yet, the realization is not an "aha" moment, but a "oh. .is that so".. So, some parts of the plot seem contrived. But compared to the run of the mill telugu movies, this is a lot .. i mean a lot, better.Narrative, screenplay and direction are good. Like another user mentioned earlier here, there is a documentary touch to some shots. Narrative seems a bit slow at times, but it could be because the pieces seem disconnected.Charmy did a good job, both as the free spirit initially, the terrified/worried one later.. She also did a good job as the drugged one, but there she seemed to imitate the terrific portrayal of sridevi in "vasantha kokila"..Jagapathi babu and the hero did a good job too. The "school master" character was funny and had us in splits. Good pun in the over-enthusiastic English was well written - like "u want to come inside from outside", "u dance , i glance"..All in all - a movie that is definitely recommended.
