Taylor Kingston Okay, so if you're watching this movie, or you're about to, then you have probably seen the first movie, 2004's A Cinderella Story starring Chad Michael Murray and Hilary Duff. This movie has the same premise as its predecessor. It's similar to the Final Destination and Bring It On franchises. Similar stories with occasionally same cast members, but always different and unique. It's not as good as the original, or first in the franchise, but it's still very good.This movie is about Mary. She is a talented dancer with big dreams. She has a horrible stepmother, who treats Mary like a slave. Mary is forbidden to go to the big dance, but she goes anyway. Good for her. She dances with dancing superstar, Joey Parker and like every Cinderella, she drops something on her way out of the ball, so her Prince Charming can later find her. She drops her Zoom, which is basically the less-popular and barely heard of, iPod. Joey needs to find who this girl is. In the end, they do and things really become magical.Overall, I give this movie an 8 out of 10.

kim_smoak I personally love Salena Gomez! So far, she has done nothing like the "other" Disney Channel stars, and she still keeps her innocence, unlike a certain Disney Channel star that I will not name…but let's just say she thinks she's got the best of both worlds. Anyways, this movie was very good in its own way. It was one of those movies were you just felt good after you watched it. It was great for the entire family! Personally, I've actually seen this movie a dozen times it seems like, but I don't really mind, because I like watching movies multiple times…especially if they make you feel good after watching them, like this one does. Oh, and I love Jane Lynch! She honestly has a dry sense of humor, but she made me laugh so many times in this movie. ysic2 Okay, I was expecting it to be Another Cinderella Story spin off like the first one, and usually when they redo it, it is bad! Not this one, I liked it. Okay, it did have the same story line as the first one, but we are talking about A Cinderella Story here. That is why it is called "Cinderella", and yes she will have a mean stepmother and two silly stepsisters so you can't really change on that. The dancing was great. It was fun, light entertainment and definitely better than I expected. It might not be a show stopper movie and it is made with young teenagers in mind but if you liked the first one as well as movies like the Princess Diaries, etc, give this one a go too.

skergirl_fab This movie was better than expected. Everyone says, "OH! It was SO predictable." If it's so predictable, then I expect they knew EXACTLY how soon Joey would know the girl was Mary. They knew EXACTLY how the girls would sabotage Mary after she got close to Joey. They knew EXACTLY how she was gonna sneak to go to the ball. The movie was WAAAYYY better than the first one and I love the fact that this one is based around dancing! So please stop slamming this movie so hard, it's really better than you make it sound. That's all I have to say.Oh and P.S., it's fun to dance along. HAHA! I memorized the dance moves.
