dittle1225 I am a giant fan of horror films and I can over look bad acting or plot holes in movies that I truly enjoy...that being said amusement is one of those films that if you think to hard the movie completely falls apart. the film begins with a couple taking part of a three car convoy but things take a turn for the worst when the three cars stop for gas and one of the couples notices a terrified girl looking out of the big rigs window. Because the road ahead is jammed the three decide to follow the rig thru a deserted back road, the terrified woman holds up a help me sign and then jumps out the window to ram couples car. the rig keeps rolling, the couple and third car stop to help the young girl who just jumped thru the window.what does the truck driver have to do with the main story. NOTHING what about the young woman who was trapped in the rig? NOTHINGI watched the movie because it was sold to me as a clown horror movie, the clown is only in the film for about ten minutes, and honestly after those scenes you can turn the film off. the film is about a little boy that tortured a little mouse and the three girls who made fun of him. The movie has moments that make you scream because of how stupid the film is, or scream about characters that show up for no reason and die, or just go away. a waste of time, 3/10
abigail-wells It wasn't the best horror film I've watched, but it most certainly was not the worst. It was good, and I was definitely intrigued to watch more mainly because of the actors. Mostly Kier O'Donnell who played the killer. He is an amazing actor and I think he definitely kept the film on its toes. The story line and plot was OK, however quite predictable. Three girls stalked and kidnapped. I did however like the idea of how they all had different stories leading up to meeting the killer one way or another as it all comes together in the very last scene. Many people complained at how the killer changed looks all the time for each story, but I think it was a smart idea. It made the killer more menacing and intimidating as you didn't know if he was someone else. It made you question who was actually who in the film. The script was OK but the actors made it sound better than I imagined it was originally written. I think the killer's most freaky look was in the scary looking, old hotel in the third story. The whole mad, creepy insane professor look goes great for the scenario of the scene! I loved how in the first story, he is an old innocent dude with glasses joining in on the convoy. It also made you think that the truck driver was the killer, with his intimidating look and suspicious behaviour as they made the actual killer look more innocent and 'normal' so to speak. Someone who you'd look at but not think they were going to kill you. The second story shows how the killer dons a clown costume which I think was extremely creepy. The third story showed the killer as, like I said before, a nutty professor type look which I think was the freakiest look. However, the killer is hidden just enough so you don't actually know it's the killer until you hear his signature laugh that you know it's him. Overall, I think everyone needs to stop being so picky. The acting was average from the girls, but very good from Kier. Being a fan of his I was not disappointed with his acting in the film. The film could of been improved to make it more scary and less predictable and more original. I recommend not watching this if your a die hard horror fan who picks out every little improvement and mistake or foul in the film. However, If your someone who will happily sit there and watch the film, understanding possible improvements but still enjoying the acting and the plot and who likes being freaked out in the dark with some friends, I suggest watching this film.
YungRapunxel212 I saw this movies cover, and I wanted to see this movie really bad. The clown on the cover, and the little summary on the back of the cover, and the fact it was $2.99 at a closing store, I expected way, way, WAY more out of it. Very cheesy and very unrealistic. So very predictable and not scary. The casting people could have done a lot better, the writers could have written the script a lot better, and the concept could have been better. Yeah, it was creepy. But, sadly, the clown was the best part. I would love to meet that clown and creep these actresses out. The women's stories really did not flow together. SPOILER ALERT -- The insane man in Shelby's story wasn't the insane man in Lisa or Tabitha's story, Shelby's killer had a big mustache and had hair on his head, where the other guy was totally different. Do not see this movie.
Robert Thorpe As Horror films go, especially in the last decade, this film is surprisingly good. Its not great but a solid horror film that will make your girl hold you close while on the couch. I actually like the way Mr Simpson told the story. Building the suspense only to not show what happens because the end is where everything is tied together. I thought the performances were good, although the bad guy could have been better cast. I would like to have seen more blood through out and he missed something that just about all good horror films have, boobs. Some good places to insert them but didn't. In the end though, I was pleasantly surprised with the story. A little something different. I would like to have seen the way it all came about when they were kids played out a bit more but that is me. Overall the film is well made and shot very well. The cinematography and set design are top notch as low budget horror films go. At 6 mil though, i think they could have stretched for a better bad guy and blood. Still, I enjoyed it.
