dynasword5150 I admire this man, Mr Russo. This man exposed the truth in this film, and now he is gone, it is a shame he is passed, I know for a fact, this film will go down in history as one of the best movies of all time, I only pray this movie will wake people up to the truth, and be prepared for many things to come, as indicated in this film. People don't realize just how important this movie is, and it is a great tool for preparation of the evil to come that is so inevitable. Mr Russo is a hero, he did something most would not dare to do, A real hero indeed.I hope many will watch this masterpiece, and buy copies of this movie. This is a great movie, and a great man produced it.
dunmore_ego EULOGY: Aaron Russo, the maker of *America: Freedom to Fascism*, died August 24, 2007, at age 64. If not for the fact he was battling cancer for an extended period, no one would have blamed us for suspecting CIA involvement in the demise of this Libertarian maverick who openly criticized government subversiveness. But there is no conspiracy. As film-makers like Russo himself have shown us, the conspiracy – is The System itself. Aaron Russo died fighting the good fight, against the cancer in his body and the cancer eating at the American People – the government. We pick up his torch and keep our small parts of the flame lit. They say there are only two sure things: death and taxes. Aaron Russo is proof there is only one.Income tax is illegal. It's not a radical battle cry – it's the Constitution. Now that you can't un-know that fact, life is going to get real scary… In the documentary *America: Freedom to Fascism*, film-maker Aaron Russo (the producer behind *The Rose* and *Trading Places*), goes on a quest to find "the law that states personal income tax is legal." And finds it as elusive as The Holy Grail (with more malarkey surrounding it than Monty Python's quest).Importuning the IRS and all levels of government body to simply produce that law for him to physically read it for himself, the deflection and misdirection and led-in-circles procrastination leads Russo to a startling conclusion: there IS no such law! The IRS would rather arrest and terrorize and declare you irrelevant if you request to view that law, in the hopes no one notices that – like ex-attorney general Alberto Gonzales - they are living One Big Lie.(To read this full unabridged review, visit: poffysmoviemania.com/AmericaFreedomToFascism.h t m l
jimdav Russo's presentation of the income-tax fraud is brilliant, and his warnings of the imminent government card & chip ID and control systems, chilling. The effect is sadly and badly marred, however, by his relentless attribution of blame to a shadowy group of "international bankers" and the Federal Reserve. The Fed is a club of banks, granted special privileges by the Federal Government in exchange for its role in creating "money" for its use out of thin air. Those privileges include the right for member banks to lend money at interest which they did not possess on deposit the instant before the loan was made and the mortgage received; this is called "fractional reserve" banking and is a prime cause of inflation.Every other company and industry group that beds down with government also gains benefits at productive peoples' expense; there is no fundamental difference. The correct solution is to terminate government; then, all such companies would be free to compete - but only honestly. Government can (alas) survive without bankers; bankers can survive without government only as harmless players in the marketplace, with no special powers to harm anyone."America: from Freedom to Fascism" is a fine production. Tragically, it blames the wrong culprit.
jlamarca Viewers, with any vested interest in the affairs of this country, must pay heed to this documentary! For those thinking that Mr. Russo (the producer/director) is a mere conspiracy nut, thereby invalidating the movie's credibility, must consider the simple fact that Mr. Russo is a respectable figure in Hollywood, who has risked much by exposing the diabolical forces in this country... for a CAUSE! Moreover, one must also consider that this film substantiates & even bolsters its claims with copious & irrefutable proof, in the way of: painstaking research, numerous interviews, famous quotations, case history, legal precedence & last but not lease- the blatant reality of events that have come to pass & worse, to come... unless PEOPLE WAKE UP!!! Another great movie of the same genre- "Loose Change" & it's viewable by performing a Google search for "Loose Change video."
