please Sidharth i was bored after seeing your last 2 pathetic movies..please at least put another one expression on your face...i can't understand when he is angry, sad, happy or confuse,In whole picture from starting to end only one expression was there.Actually This actor Sidharth should stop doing movies and give peace to people(specially after Flops Like Baar Baar Dekho,Hasee To Phasi,Brothers&Now this Gentleman) bollywood needs to now understand that the people like this who can't act and doing same things again and again should stop now....i have wasted my time and money on this crap..in fact this movie is copied from many Hollywood movie scenes like FF7,Mr.andMrs.Smith,Mission Impossible and by even that it can't become successful...worst casting on Sidharth and jecqline....if Akshay kumar or Salman khan would be better choice of this...

The trailers and build-up to this movie had got me really excited. But when I checked the reviews, bam! they were horrible. This literally killed my excitement! So much that I watched this movie more than a week after its release, that too after a lot of hesitation. But once I was halfway through the movie, I started thinking about all the negativity surrounding it, and then realized that several ratings and reviews of this movie on IMDb are utter BS. Which is why I decided to write this review.Coming to the movie, it follows the story of Gaurav - a normal office-goer, Kavya - his love interest and Rishi - a spy. It feels like a Hollywood action movie plus some unnecessary songs and dances which is a routine in Bollywood. The movie has got a lot to offer which includes the concept of parallel timelines, plot twists and a lot of action with a dash of humor.

In my book, no movie deserves a 1-star rating, especially this one.To be honest, I haven't written a review for any movie prior to this. Didn't need to because there was always a fair assessment of a movie on IMDb. You know, two sides to the coin and all that jazz. Not in this case, unfortunately. Looking at all the concerted click farm 1-star ratings, I wondered how could my experience of watching the movie be so out of step with these so-called user reviews. Some of these reviewers claim that they hate the actors (Siddharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez) to the core. Now, I can't for the life of me understand why on earth would you go and watch a film that stars the exact same actors? Well, I got my answers after a little digging into the profiles of these 'good Samaritans', whose only goal in life seems to be to save your time and money from watching (not all bad movies, mind you!) this particularly bad movie, and who were offended so much by the movie that they decided to join IMDb for the first time only days after the movie's release and save you from the 'hell' they went through. If only, we cared so much about each other, the world really would be an amazing place indeed. As for my own experience of watching the movie, I thought that the movie sets itself up for a mammoth task of mixing two radically diverse genres - action and comedy. There is always an element of risk associated with these kinds of movies and expecting mixed results is part of the unspoken deal. But directors Raj and DK did a fine job in balancing this tone very effectively throughout the movie. Their unapologetic approach to filmmaking, coupled with their wacky sense of humor, bodes well for the duo in subverting the two genres and making it a wholesome entertainer. My only criticism would be the inclusion of songs. (This is my qualm with every other movie which has songs in it!). While the songs were a great listen outside of the movie, they did little to help move the narrative of the film. Their exclusion could have also helped cut down the slightly longer run time of the film.I won't tell you to go watch the movie. Because it's not really my place to do so. No one need tell us what we are supposed to do. I'm merely sharing my experience of watching A Gentleman. If you do happen to watch it, please share your experience too. Unlike some, we may not make the world a better place, but we can at least try to make it fair.
