myvallli That was a movie, I discovered on the small screen, while advertising its small trailer. I saw it. I liked it. The first few times I didn't see it the whole thing, but then I saw it and I had no patience for it. Now I saw it the whole movie. And it was really good. Good cast. Good acting. Good shooting. Good script. Good producing. I'm proud this movie had made over 120$. Well deserved.Toned with bit of a realism. Padded with the typical artistic view and idea. The movie touches the audience. Indeed - me. There were some awkward moments for real. But they could not ruin the movie, nor scratch it hard. I cannot believe to the ratings of critics on other sites. But leave it. I have my opinion strong, that's what matters. Appreciations!
edwinapotter-51364 How I disliked the book! My friend watched the film and recommended it to me, but I was quite turned off after reading first half of the book.It was only today that I brought myself to watch the film. It is such a great film. I crid, laughed, and hugged my dog so tight afterwards, I'm pretty sure that she was a lttle confused. Okat I admit: I hugged her through the film. Honestly, I may never find out how they trained those canine actors. How they trained them to jump, fetch and make those faces, you'd be shocked by the level of difficulty in their acting--by they I mean the dogs. Dog owners must watch it! Make sure that you have your little loved one/s beside you while watching--they'll love allllllll the barkings! (MINE DID!)
HorrorFan021980 I didn't want to see this movie because after watching the preview it just seemed too sad for me. One day it was on tv about 10 mins into the movie and I spent the next hour and a half SOBBING sad tears that turned into hilarious laughter over and over. There are so many times that I would look at my dog and wonder what he could be thinking and this movie fills in all the blanks for you. It shows how you are not just the owner of a dog but how you are there for each other. It give you lessons on life, death and love. Even though it has sad moments throughout it's still a very lighthearted movie and is actually very good to show children and explain the loss of a dog (and show them that they come back!). So beautifully acted and written and even the dogs are amazing. If you see this and have a dog you are going to squeeze them all night after. And if you don't have a dog...well, you may just want one after!
ethanarmstrong79 A little hokey, and the narrator's voice was too saccharine for my taste; but up there with Benji and Air Bud.
