smartin-43053 A Bit of Bad Luck is a dark comedy that takes you on a ride through a man's coming to an (not intentional) understanding of his selfish ways. I thoroughly enjoyed it and laughed out loud at several places. One of my favorite scenes was when the protagonist ends up in jail and the prisoner in the cell next to his has a complete bedroom set with a comfy bed, table lamp and bedside table. He has no lock on his cell door and has been there for two and a half years. Not only has he never had a trial, he wasn't even expecting one. No explanation needed. The lead character, Brooks, played by Cary Elwes was excellent. You felt his panic as he was being surrounded and hunted by a town of violent red necks with no escape. The music was fun and in a few places told the narrative. The cinematography was excellent. I am from the Pacific Northwest and I loved seeing familiar places. A funny horror movie filmed in broad daylight. I recommend this movie to adults who want a great movie with a healthy dose of dark humor.

oscarmendez I found this little gem over the weekend on the movie browser of my Windows 10. This film addresses, through the main character, the greed and moral decay of many of the 1%. A rich yuppie guy likes to cheat on his rich girl wife. The rich girl wife has had a mental health breakdown and sets up a very wicked scheme to bring her cheating husband down. The guy goes off to meet his mistress (a young girl)out in hick country. He devastates her and she offs herself. He find her dead and hauls ass out of their hotel room. Then, the weird stuff starts going down. His car is sabotaged and he ends up spending the night in his dead girlfriends little home town. The town is really angry that someone left their girl for dead. They start putting two and two together then everything hits the fan and dude is stalked like a wild animal by a dangerous mob. If I say anymore, I'm giving away some major spoilers. I don't know any of the actors in this film but they did a real good job. The story is so cool and unpredictable. Also, I live in Washington state and I am familiar with some of the locations they show. One word of warning, the film is not rated and I had my kids (9&11) with me. Suddenly, they F Bombs started flying. So, this flick is not for kids. I did not like the fowl language but apart from that, I really liked it.

c-89270 What this film is about is revenge. It's listed a "dark comedy."!I guess that's a good description. I couldn't believe all of the plot twists. I never knew which direction the story was going as it's so fresh - so original. The acting was superb with Cary Elwes and Teri Polo. As soon as I finished watching it, I had to watch it again. On the second time around I noticed even more cool story twists that I noticed the first time. I checked up on the person who wrote the script and horror seems to be his usual thing. I think he is a genius for coming up with such an original script and so major League intelligent dialogue. I highly recommend this flick!

reincarnation-16380 *********SPOILER FREE*********** So those of you guys who are looking for a good time by watching a movie and have some beers while you are at it, please do not watch this one.I don't usually review movies but this one made me come out here and write it so that i could save a few good souls from committing one of the biggest mistakes of their lives. This movie is a MASSIVE waste of time and energy. Actings are cliché and the story is.... well i don't think there are any English word that can do justice to this. Even after my warning,if you still decide to watch, you will understand why i named my TITLE as NOTHING. Giving it a 2 is giving it too much credit.Simply put this movie is hollow. There is nothing in the movie that i can praise about.Please DON'T INVEST TIME ON THIS.
